International Studies is seeking a full time Lecturer beginning August 2009. This is a three year, renewable non-tenure track position. Requirements for the position include: 1) a Master’s degree in International Relations or a related discipline; 2) prior teaching experience at the college level; and, 3) a commitment to student-centered multidisciplinary education. Desired qualifications: Ph.D. in International Relations or a related discipline; ability to offer courses related to globalization, development, conflict/peace studies, or global governance. Expertise related to Europe or Asia preferred.

CHAIR, DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY: The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking to fill the position of Chair in the Department of Psychology starting July 1, 2009. The position, which will be on a twelve-month contract with tenure, is open to applicants with credentials commensurate with that of a full professor at UNC Charlotte.
Required: Ph.D. in Psychology or a related filed; a record of significant research accomplishment; experience in writing and managing grants or contracts; a commitment to quality undergraduate and graduate education for a diverse student population; the ability to provide academic leadership.
