Lisa-Michelle came to UNC Charlotte in August 2014 from an advising center at UT Chattanooga. Before that she worked with students in career and major decision making at Wartburg College in Iowa and at Appalachian State University. She earned a BA in Psychology and a MA in College Student Development at Appalachian State. As an academic advisor, Lisa-Michelle enjoys helping students strategize for success in their educational and career goals through identifying necessary campus resources, building an academic program appropriate for a student’s strengths, and augmenting learning with experience beyond the classroom. Lisa-Michelle loves cooking, being outside, and spending time with family. She is always up for a live concert or festival.
