UNC Charlotte Mediation Team wins at National Competition:

  • 3rd place overall as team advocate/client

The Department of Biology is having a memorial for Dr. Michael Hudson Nov. 18, 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the SAC salons. All those who wish to attend are welcome.

Cook Wins Prestigious BOG Award for Excellence in Public Service. Associate professor of psychology James Cook is the 2009 recipient of the UNC Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Public Service.

Jan. 28, CLAS hosts P.W. Singer, senior fellow at the Brookings Institute and author of Wired for War.

Congratulations to the CLAS finalists for this year's Bank of America Award for Teaching Excellence: Charles Burnap, Mathematics and Statistics; Patrick Moyer, Physics and Optical Science; and Lori Van Wallendael, Psychology.
