For College of Liberal Arts & Sciences students, Monday, August 21, 2017 starts with students assembling at Halton Arena with Dean Nancy A. Gutierrez for the Dean’s Welcome. Students from other colleges will then join CLAS students to participate in the New Student Convocation ceremony. The ceremony will be followed by departmental and collegiate activities.

  • If you can't make it to 49er New Year, you may pick up your T-shirt Monday morning at the UCAE office in Colvard 2300.
  • On Monday, wear your shirt, dress casually, and wear comfortable shoes.
